Bibb Schools Providing Students with Opportunity to Prepare for Careers in AI,
Robotics, Cyber Security and EV with Innovation and Technology Academy
The Innovation and Technology Academy, 2122 Eisenhower Parkway, is a part of Bibb County
School District’s continued development for cutting edge Career, Technical and Agricultural
Education (CTAE) pathways and programs. This includes opportunities for public and private
partnerships and workforce development, as well as preparing Bibb County’s students for
careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
The Academy is a partnership between the Bibb County School District, Macon-Bibb County,
and Urban Development Authority that was made possible thanks to the donation of the building
by Butler Collision Center. The building has been transformed into an education space
supporting career readiness and workforce development through innovative CTAE pathways.
The Innovation and Technology Academy is an extension of the William S. Hutchings College
and Career Academy, which is located at 1780 Anthony Road.
Dr. Cassandra Washington, Executive Director
of CTAE and CEO of W.S. Hutchings College
and Career Academy, stated, “This state-of-theart facility will equip our students with technical
skills aligned to rigorous academic, data
analysis, and a vast number of computer
programming languages, as well as critical
non-technical skills in the areas of
